Alerts are saved only in this browser. Monitoring pauses while Exchange is closed, hidden, offline or unable to verify fresh data. When you return, the next fresh observation is checked; missed crossings are not reconstructed. Browser notifications follow the same limits. Alerts never submit orders.

BTC, Ethereum mainnet, SOL, ADA, DOGE and LTC use the live composite midpoint. Other mapped deployments use the Core USD reference checked every 30 seconds. An alert fires once at or above/below your threshold, including if the condition is already met when you create or resume it.
